Using the comparison tools.
Our filters, side-by-side plan comparison and cost calculator run in your browser. We do not ask for a diagnosis, date of birth, address or other health information. We do not save calculator amounts or checklist answers to a Senior.ca database.
Filter preferences and selected plan identifiers may appear in the page’s URL so a filtered page can be opened directly. Like other URLs, those addresses may be present in browser history and hosting logs. Avoid entering private information into a URL.
Hosting and technical information.
The primary Senior.ca website is hosted on Netlify. A secondary website version is also available through OpenAI Sites infrastructure, with Cloudflare used for delivery. These hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time for delivery, security and operations. Their retention practices are governed by their service policies.
We use Netlify’s server-side Web Analytics to understand aggregate pageviews, visitor estimates, referral sources and approximate visitor locations from hosting logs. Visitor estimates use IP addresses; they are not a count of identified people. No analytics JavaScript or analytics cookies are added to your browser. Provider purchases and commissions, if introduced, require separate attribution and are not inferred from these visitor estimates.
We have not added advertising pixels, browser marketing analytics, newsletter sign-up forms or account registration. We do not set our own marketing cookies. Infrastructure may use strictly necessary security or delivery mechanisms.
When you visit a provider.
A provider link takes you to another company’s website. That company controls its own forms, cookies, contracts and privacy practices. Read its information before submitting personal or health details. Our provider links are not currently affiliate links; see the current funding disclosure.
If you email us.
Contact is optional. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to handle the enquiry or correction. Please do not send medical records, payment-card details or passwords.
We keep correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable business obligations. Email is processed by our email service provider and may be stored outside Canada. We do not use an enquiry as consent to a marketing mailing list.
Contact and privacy requests.
For questions, a request to access or correct personal information we hold, or a deletion request, email adi@senior.ca. We may need to verify the request and explain any information we must retain.
